DISSONANCE core campaign · turn-based field edition

The Second Line

A point-and-click, turn-based adventure through Ward 7. Inspect people, records, routes, and repair work. Prepare evidence, resolve visible checks, and live with the changes carried into later work.

Campaign loop

Point, inspect, prepare, commit

  1. Enter a location and choose a marked person, record, route, or work site.
  2. The camera holds that target while the inspection dock explains who keeps something, who pays, the time cost, and the possible return.
  3. Prepare one held record when evidence can change an external-pressure check.
  4. Review the consequence, then commit a prediction and confidence stamp before the engine resolves the turn.
  5. Watch both dice, each bonus, the pressure target, and the strong, mixed, or hard result enter the receipt.
  6. Carry the consequence into later locations, Reader Press, and the shared profile.

Player purpose

Record Keeper

You are not a canon character and cannot rewrite what happened in DISSONANCE. You begin as an immigrant. Citizenship follows a custody route another ward can use. Keeper honors record both the work accomplished and the burden that remains.
