Privacy and Email Notice
Mud News Package collects only the information needed to deliver requested email, operate reader features, protect the site, and maintain business records.
Distribution List
After you request the Distribution List, the site encrypts your first name and email address into a confirmation link that expires in one hour. It sends Resend the destination address and confirmation message. The site keeps a one-way token hash, keyed address hash, consent version, source category, and abuse-prevention fingerprint. Resend adds your contact to the list after you press the confirmation button. The site deletes the temporary record after confirmation. If the link expires, the next site or desk maintenance request removes the record.
Confirmed readers receive five messages across fourteen days and may receive release notices. Each marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. After confirmation, the site keeps a keyed address hash as the reader’s private ledger identity. The hash cannot reveal the address to the Command Desk. Delivery jobs keep the consent version, source category, and delivery state for up to twenty-one days. These records prevent duplicate sequences and help Manuel resolve an interrupted request. The site stores delivery events as aggregate counts and keeps no subscriber names, email addresses, message contents, IP addresses, or clicked links.
Field Ledger and Ledger Marks
The connected Field Ledger uses a random reader identifier and keyed address hash. It stores verified marks, mark status, source type, access state, claim status, privacy preference, and dates. It stores no password. A one-use email link opens the ledger for thirty minutes, and the browser session expires after thirty days.
Reading records, trail details, field locations, inspections, held acquisitions, consequence receipts, player call sign, standing, conditions, custody route, Keeper hearing, and autosave stay in your browser. After you open a connected ledger, the browser may send known record-completion identifiers and completed campaign routes to reconcile eligible marks. It sends no dice history, acquisition detail, location history, receipt text, or choice history. Marks remain private unless you allow verified marks to appear beside future Public Margin or Reader Press entries. The site has no public leaderboard.
The site may count campaign views, starts, movement completions, debrief completions, save restores, migration errors, and campaign completions. Those events contain a route label or software version. They contain no choice label, dialogue text, evidence detail, condition, call sign, or spoiler answer.
Reader records
Public comments and Reader Press submissions store the name and text you choose to publish. Reader Press drafts and previews stay in your browser until you confirm publication. A signed-in Reader Press submission can earn a Witness Filed mark. If you enabled public mark display, the site copies up to four verified marks to each new public entry. Privacy-preserving fingerprints enforce rate limits and reporting rules. Keep private contact details out of public text.
Direct requests
Group-reading inquiries use a separate direct-request form. Resend delivers the first name, email address, group name, and optional planning note to Manuel A. Dominguez. The site keeps no copy of those fields. The author’s email service retains the message until Manuel deletes it. A privacy-preserving fingerprint limits abuse, and the site records an aggregate request count. Sending a direct request does not join the Distribution List.
Business and service providers
Resend processes distribution and ledger-access email. The site reduces signed delivery webhooks to opaque event identifiers, message-stage labels, processing states, and aggregate outcomes. It keeps opaque event identifiers so provider retries and manual replays do not count twice. The Command Desk stores no names, email addresses, message contents, links, IP addresses, or device details from those webhooks.
Stripe handles direct digital checkout. Amazon handles purchases made through its store. Mud News Package never receives or stores payment-card details. For a direct Stripe purchase, the site stores Stripe transaction identifiers, amount, currency, order status, a one-way buyer-address hash, and time-limited private-download authorization. These records grant or revoke the matching reader mark without exposing payment details in the public profile. Amazon does not provide a buyer match to this site. An Amazon claim stores a one-way order hash, the last four order digits, purchase date, status, and claim code. Send receipt proof outside the site and remove payment details before sending it. The hosting provider processes requests needed to serve and secure the site. Mud News Package does not sell subscriber data.
